On Friday evening Harlow Town FC had their annual Presentation evening at the Harlow Arena.

It was a well supported evening with players, officials, supporters and family members enjoying the evening.

The evening started with Director Paul Wilson handing out gifts to the many volunteers that help out on a match day, including Julia Morris for her work I the boardroom, George and Alan that get the supporters through the turnstiles and David "The Mike" Square who's dulcet tones can be heard over the tanoy system.

Steve and Paul then took to the mike to show their appreciation to the staff, players and supporters for the past season.

The first of the main awards was the Club Person of the year which was presented to hard working Youth Secretary Tim Sewell, who has been at the club for one season and has transformed the youth setup. A fully deserved award.

Supporters player of the season was presented by Paul "Legsy" Legas and Ray "Buddah" Trowsdale, after club secretary Ray Dyer counted out the supporters votes the award went to club captain David Cowley.

The players player trophy went to the midfield engine Fabion Simms.

Alex "The Machine" Read then collected the golden boot for a 2nd consecutive season. A superb achievement.

The prestigious Presidents Cup went to the ever present left back Layne Eadie and was presented by club president Ron Bruce.

Finally Hawks manager Danny Chapman and his assistant Spencer Knight presented the managers player of the season, this also went to the flying left back Layne Eadie on what was a great night for the young defender.

This was a fitting end to what was another successful season at The Harlow Arena, we now go away for the summer and start preparing for Pre Season and what we hope will be another fantastic season. The players return to training on Saturday 27th June with the first Pre-Season friendly due to take place on Tuesday 7th July when we entertain Newmarket Town FC.
