Harlow ladies sealed an incredible season with a hotly contested League Cup final win on Sunday 15th May.

The Hawks came out 5-3 winners over Runwell Hospital Ladies in the final game of the season. Women's Football blogger Darren Gilham has written a very comprehensive account of the victory.

The trophy takes the season's tally to four in what has been an fantastic year for the team playing under the Harlow Town banner for the first season.

The Ladies won their first trophy back in March, with a comprehensive 5-0 win over Wickford in the Essex County Women's Trophy. They then followed up with a 6-0 win over Walden in the Tilbury & District Charity Cup.

A 100% league record, with 18 wins out of 18, secured the Essex County Women's League Division One title, before Sunday's win sealed an historic quadruple.

In all, Harlow Ladies only lost one game all season, against Charlton Athletic, who went on to finish third in the Women's Premier Division Southern Division, at the third step of English Women's Football.

Congratulations to Manager Grant Palmer, his coaching staff, and all the Harlow Town Ladies squad on having such a fantastic season!
