Harlow Town are delighted to announce the signing of Goalkeeper Darren Behcet from East Thurrock United.

Manager Danny Chapman was thrilled to capture the signature of the 26 year old stopper. Chapman said "He was delighted to have Darren on board and it shows how far the club has come to be able to fight of Ryman premier teams for his signature".
Behcet turned down offers from Thamesmead & Carshalton Athletic to join the Hawks, and after signing the registration form, club secretary Ray Dyer welcomed him to the club and wished him a successful season at The Harlow Arena. Behcet replied "that is why I have joined Harlow, for success and help the team to promotion to the Ryman Premier League".

Behcet is available for selection when the team travel to Leatherhead in the FA Trophy on Saturday. At training on Thursday night Danny Brown, Leon Antoine, Robbie Martin and Ben Hart went through there paces as well as Darren Blewitt who's sore foot kept him out of the defeat at Wroxham. Junior Dadson did not train and was being treated for a tight hamstring but is hopeful of being available for selection on Saturday.
