Harlow town football club are delighted to announce the signings of three new faces and also some old ones from last season.

Manager Danny chapman has sealed the signature of top centre forward Alex Read from Aveley. Read has scored over 25 league goals in both the previous seasons while at Tilbury in 2011/12 helping them to the play offs and last season with Brentwood Town and Aveley, helping the later to the play offs. It is a great coup for Chapman who has been looking for a top striker for some time. Read turned down offers from two conference south sides to join the Hawks.
Also joining the strike-force is 18 year old Centre forward Chinedu McKenzie from relegated Ilford. McKenzie notched 6 goals in his last 9 appearances for the club. Chapman has also secured the service of talented midfielder Robbie Martin from AFC Sudbury. Once again Chapman managed to see of competition from conference south clubs for Martin's signature. Re-signing for the club for another season are Goalkeeper Daniel Knowles, defenders Danny Brown, Donny Barnard and Christian Wheeler, midfielder Ben Hart and forward Scott Williams. We would like to wish all the players a great season at Barrows Farm.

Meanwhile the Hawks have parted company with the likes of Stanley Muguo, Joe O'Donoghue, Kwame Asamoah and Kevin Toonga, to name but a few, and we would like to wish all these players the very best for the future and thank them for there services. But at this moment there is no news regarding the future of Piers Wixon.
