Danny Chapman has made a number of signings this week as he shakes up his squad after three league defeats in a row.

We can confirm that we have signed forward Tom Hitchcock from Biggleswade Town. Tom came through the youth ranks at Blackburn Rovers before breaking into the reserves side. He then moved to Plymouth Argyle, enjoying loan spells at Bristol Rovers and Rotherham United, before joining MK Dons.

He has also played for local sides Boreham Wood and Chelmsford City, before signing for Biggleswade Town at the start of this season.

We are also pleased to announce the signing of Bill Plumpton on dual registration with Biggleswade United. Bill is a full-back who can also play in central midfield, and counts Stevenage Borough, Watford and Arseley Town among his former clubs.

Mayowa Adaje has also registered with the First Team. Mayowa is a winger who has featured for the Reserves recently.

For the final signing, the Club are delighted to announce the return of striker Matt Foy on loan from Cambridge United. Matt’s eight goals in nine appearances last season helped to steer the Hawks away from the threat of relegation, and he will be a welcome addition to the strike force.

Unfortunately, due to the earlier registration deadline for FA competitions, it is unlikely that he will be cleared to play in tomorrow’s FA Trophy fixture away to Whitehawk, but Hawks fans can look forward to him pulling on a Harlow shirt again very soon.

We would like to welcome all the new and returning players to the Club, and wish them all the best of luck.

Finally, we can also confirm that Charlie Weatherhead has been released to pursue first team football elsewhere. We thank him for his contribution during his time with the club.
