Harlow manager Danny Chapman has strengthened his squad after the injury to Sam Holloway, with the signing of defender Craig Pope from AFC Sudbury.

He was quick to pounce after learning that the 31 year old had been released by AFC Sudbury over the week-end.
Chapman said “ it is a great signing for us as we come to the business end of the season, I used to play with Craig when we were both at Barnet, he is strong and powerful, and knows the game inside out”.

Pope has seen service at Barnet, Cambridge City, Thurrock, Histon, Grays Athletic and AFC Sudbury.

The Centre Half will be available for selection when The Hawks travel to his former club AFC Sudbury on Saturday.

We would like to welcome Craig to Harlow and wish him a successful time at the club.
