Harlow Town have tonight announced the departure od midfielder David Cowley.

Cowley last seasons supporters player of the year has joined Essex rivals Thurrock. Cowley said "he was disappointed to leave what is his home town club", but he felt it was the right move for him after a Seven Day Approach was sent to the club from Thurrock.

Club Secretary Ray Dyer was very disappointed with the way Thurrock announced the signing on Thursday evening when Cowley was still officially a Hawks player. Dyer said "it was very unprofessional to announce this before we deregistered him".

The club wishes him all the best for the future and thanks David for all his hard work over the last season.

Meanwhile Danny Chapman signed Goalkeeper Alex Rossis from Ryman Premier side Leiston. The 28 year old will go straight into the squad for Saturdays game at home to Romford.
We would like to welcome Alex to The Harlow Arena and wish him a successful time at the club.
