Harlow Town FC can confirm that forward Junior Dadson has been sold to Cray Wanders for an undisclosed fee.

I would like to thank the fans at the club for the continued support.

We received an offer for Junior, and given that his contract with the Club expired at the end of the season, we decided that it was in the best interests of Harlow Town to allow the player to speak with the Wands.

Junior indicated that he would like to discuss terms with Cray, and after agreeing a significant financial package that we are not able to match, he has decided to join the Bostik League Division One side. As a result, Junior will be transferred with immediate effect.

We have many happy memories with Junior as part of the Club, and we would like to thank him for his contribution during his time with the Hawks. He initially signed for us ahead of the 2013-14 season, and after leaving the following summer for a short spell with AFC Hornchurch, Junior re-signed for Harlow in December 2014.

Dadson has gone on to make 175 appearances in total for the Hawks, scoring 81 goals. His 30 goals in the 2015-16 season helped the Hawks to the Isthmian League Division One playoff final, resulting in promotion back to the Premier Division.

Following the transfer, Junior said "I would like to thank the fans at the club for the continued support. The Harlow fans are so intimate and energetic. They are amazing.

"I really wanted to hit 100 goals for Harlow, that's a little pain for me. Maybe one day I could continue that quest for a century of goals.

"I've left on wonderful terms with Chappo, Spencer and the players, and that means a lot to me."

We would like to wish Junior all the best for the future, on and off the pitch.
