The Hawks received a 7-day approach for Dobson, and it was agreed by mutual content to release the player. He will now link up with former manager Mark Morsley, for whom he played under at Needham Market, at Bostik Divison 1 North side AFC Sudbury.

He made 15 starts for the Hawks this term, and 9 appearances from the bench, scoring six goals in the process.
