Layne Eadie capped an incredible season with a host of awards at the end of season Awards Presentation Night.

The night began with the presentation of the Top Scorer Award, with Alex Read picking up the trophy for the third year running.

His 38 goals this season, including 31 in the league, take his total tally since joining the Hawks to 132.

The next award to be presented was the Supporter's Player of the Season. In a closely contested ballot, with two players commanding the majority of the votes, Layne Eadie was announced as the winner.

The Player's Player of the Season was then presented by Captain Craig Pope, which was again awarded to Layne Eadie.

Club President Ron Bruce, after a thrilling playoff win, declared that the playoff win was one of his best moment's during his long tenure at the club. He then presented the President's Cup to First Team Assistant Tom Church.

Finally, Hawks' boss Danny Chapman addressed the crowd to thank the players, club staff, his assistant Spencer Knight, and supporter's for their support during an incredible season. He also paid tribute to Tom Church for his help throughout the season, before awarding the Manager's Player of the Season award to Layne Eadie, giving the left-back and incredible trio of accolades.

Finally the players, led by Ibrahima Sonko, then then gave their own thanks to "the gaffa" Danny Chapman, the club staff, supporters, and especially Kit Man/First Team Assistant Martin Barnard, for his help throughout the year.

With promotion to the Ryman Premier Division secured, there was a jubilant atmosphere that capped a successful season, with celebrations going late into the night.

The Club would like to thank everyone for their support this season, and we wish all our supporters a good summer. We look forward to seeing you all back at the Harlow Arena for the start of the league campaign in August.
