The U’s, the Shrimpers and the Daggers become involved in the competition at the Third Round stage and they’ll be joined by the rest of Essex’s sides in the Skrill Conference and the Ryman Isthmian League, as well as the Eastern Counties and Essex Senior League representatives who battled their way through the first two stages.

The following day, a special ‘Groundhopper Day’ will involve four Essex clubs. Supporters can watch three matches on the same day during the ‘Essex Hop’, beginning when Wivenhoe Town host Felixstowe & Walton United at 12:00 noon. FC Clacton then entertain Newmarket Town at 3:00pm, followed by Brightlingsea Regent against Stanway Rovers at 6:00pm.
