Hawks physio Martin Barnard has given us an update on the long-term injuries, and there is something to cheer up the Harlow Town fans.

Firstly, goalkeeper Ed Thompson is looking at an extended period out of the game. After suffering a horrific dislocated knee in the Essex County Cup game away to Tilbury earlier this month, he hasn't been able to work of late. All donations received at our recent games are most gratefully received.

Ed's scan on his knee has been postponed until New Year's Eve, and although we won't know the full extent of the damage until then, with suspected anterior cruciate ligament damage he will be looking at a long period of recuperation.

Joe Benjamin has also been sidelined with a knee injury, and is waiting for a scan to assess the problem. We will bring more news of that when it's available.

The good news, which will bring some Christmas cheer to Hawks fans, is that Junior Dadson has resumed training. After a knee injury that ruled him out of the first half of the season, he has successfully come through an operation that has made it good as new. We can look forward to seeing him pull on a Harlow Town shirt once again as we move towards the New Year.
