Club Captain Craig Pope is departing this summer for a new challenge, after three and a half years at Harlow Town FC.

It has been an honour playing for the club
- Craig Pope

Craig joined the Hawks in February 2015, and the following season he was made Club Captain, lifting the Playoff trophy and leading the team to promotion from the Isthmian Division One North.

He went on to make 117 appearances for the Hawks, scoring six goal in the process, with his passion and no-nonsense defending earning himself a place as a fans' favourite.

Craig offered valuable experience to the dressing room that he now takes with him as he moves on to his next challenge with Walthamstow FC.

On announcing his departure, Craig said: "I would just like to say a big thank you to all the fans for their support and the great times I've had playing for Harlow Town FC.

"It has been an honour playing for the club and I wish the club every success for the future."

Everyone at the Club would like to echo those sentiments, and we would like to say thank you to Craig for all his contributions during his time with us, and we wish him all the very best for the future.
