Sam Clarke is an experienced and hard-working midfielder who made 387 appearances for the Suffolk side. As the Club Captain since 2010, earlier this season he surpassed their all-time record of 376 appearances.

Sam signed for Sudbury from Great Wakering Rovers, and soon developed a reputation as a tough-tackling midfielder. He went on to score 39 goals for the club, but after discussions with new AFC boss Mark Morsley, he has now been released from his contract.

We are delighted that Sam has signed for the Hawks, and subject to the Bostik League ratifying the paperwork, he will be available for selection at tomorrow's game away to Brightlingsea Regent.
