Harlow Town FC are delighted to announce the double-signing of defender JJ Da Cruz from Barking and Josh Bexon from Southend United.

JJ Da Cruz (pictured above) is a tall centre-back who started the season with Barking, for whom he signed from Cheshunt mid-way through last season. The former Hornchurch man will be a welcome addition to the Harlow Town defence, and he has been registered in time to be considered for selection at tonight's first home league game against Burgess Hill Town.

Danny Chapman has also added to his goalkeeping options with the signing of Josh Bexon on loan from Southend United. He joined the Shrimpers' youth system in 2015 before signing a professional contract last season.

We can also confirm the signing of Alex Clark from Southend, who was signed just in time for the league opener away to Whitehawk. He is a young winger who came through Finesse Football Academy before signing a scholarship with Southend United. He featured for the League One side's Under 23's team and also spent time on loan at Lowestoft Town.
Unfortunately, Alex suffered an injury halfway through our first game and will face a period of time on the sidelines.

We would like to extend a warm welcome to all three players and we look forward to them pulling on a Harlow Town shirt.

The Hawks kick off the home league campaign with the visit of Burgess Hill tonight (Tuesday 14th August). Kick off is at 7:45pm, and all Under 18's can take advantage of free admission for this and all other home league games.
