Harlow Town travel to Ilford FC to face Barkingside in a Ryman League Division One North match.

Monday Night Football is usually associated with Sky, but there will be TV cameras of a different nature at this match. BBC and STV will both be there, filming as part of upcoming FA Cup coverage and a fly-on-the-wall documentary respectively.

The Hawks side could include new faces with boss Danny Chapman looking to secure cover at right-back, with Craig Pope missing Saturday’s game through injury.

Harlow‘s indifferent start to the season has seen them slip to 14th in the league table with only five points from a possible 12 in the opening four games. Saturday’s draw at home to Romford saw improvement in the second half, but the first half performances have been disappointing.

Barkingside have also struggled to find their feet so far this season. Despite finishing third from bottom last season a reprieve meant they kept their place in the division, however it looks as though they are in for another tough year.

They got their first point on the board with a 3-3 draw away to Waltham Abbey. They are currently 23rd in the table after four games.

For travelling fans, the address is:

Cricklefield Stadium
3 Cricklefield Place
Ilford
Essex IG1 1FY

Kick off is at 7:45pm, on Monday 24th August 2015.

Don’t forget, if you can’t make the game, you can follow goal and match updates on the Harlow Town FC Twitter and Facebook pages.
