The Hawks make the trip into Kent to face Chatham Town in our Ryman League Division One North match.

The Hawks took three points off the Kent side earlier in the season with a 90th minute Alex Read winner securing the victory. Read will miss this match due to an injury, but new signing Jamie Guy made a scoring start on his debut in last weekend’s win over Brightlingsea Regent.

Craig Pope will complete his 2-match suspension by sitting out this game.

Relegation-threatened Chatham are currently in 20th place in the league table, two places above the drop-zone. They are on 40 points from as many games, which gives them a six point cushion over Barkingside in the final relegation place. Chatham are far from safe and will be keen to make themselves mathematically safe.

With all of the top teams in the league consistently winning, Harlow are still five points behind leaders Needham. The Hawks have 90 points from 40 games and will likely break the 100 point barrier before the season’s end.

The form table makes pleasant reading for Harlow, having won the last five games in a row. 16 points from the last 6 matches have kept the title chase alive.

Chatham, meanwhile, are understandably struggling. They have one win, two draws and three losses from the last six games, returning 5 points from a possible 18.
