The Hawks travel to Dereham Town in a Ryman League Division One North clash that could go a long way to determining who gains promotion this season.

The last match between the two sides back in September was a 9-goal thriller, with injured striker Alex Read scoring a hat-trick. Dereham have injury problems of their own, losing two players during the week.

The Hawks are second in the league on 84 points, and Needham Market won their final game-in-hand with a comfortable 1-3 away win at Brentwood during the week. They now sit five points clear at the top on 89 points, and both teams have played 38 games. With only eight matches of the regular season left, every point is now crucial.

Dereham have been steadily improving throughout the season, and despite a couple of recent poor results dropping them down the table, they are still in playoff contention. They are currently in 6th place, out of the playoff places by just three points, and they have accrued 67 points from their 38 games.

Going into this game, Harlow are placed higher in the form table. Last week’s hard-fought win over Aveley made it three wins in a row, and five games without defeat. The Hawks have returned 11 points from a possible 18 in the last 6 matches. In the same period, Dereham have won two, drawn one and lost three, gaining 7 points.

For travelling fans, the stadium address is:

Kick off is at 3:00pm, on Saturday 14th March 2015.
