The Hawks make the trip across to the Essex coast, to face Great Wakering Rovers in a Ryman League Division One North game.

The Hawks once again find themselves in the position where they have to bounce back from a league defeat, after a late goal from Sudbury inflicted the first loss at home this season. Harlow have had a week off, and with players returning from injury all the time, the team will be fresh.

Great Wakering have come through a turbulent time, with manager Dan Trenkel resigning last month. Gary Ansell has replaced him, but he has yet to see a significant upturn in the club’s fortunes.

Great Wakering have won two, drawn one and lost three of their last six games, in charge, and their last two games have resulted in 3-1 and 5-1 defeats. The Hawks meanwhile, have three wins, a draw and two losses in the same period, returning 10 points from a possible 18.

Harlow are in 11th place in the table on 35 points, having played 20 games. Great Wakering have played 25, the most in the division, and sit four places below on 28 points.
