Harlow will be looking for another three points after the Bank Holiday win over Ware saw the gap at the top of the league closed to just one point. Harlow in 2nd now have 96 points from 43 games, with Needham Market just ahead on 97 points.

A recent dip in form has seen Maldon & Tiptree drop several places in the past few weeks, and they are currently in 18th position with 45 points from their 43 games.

Just a single point from the previous 6 matches puts them second bottom of the form table, with one draw and six losses. They’re also without a league win in eight games. The Hawks meanwhile are still performing well – five wins and a loss from the last six have returned 15 points from a possible 18.

Despite the seeming different fortunes between the two sides, it was Maldon & Tiptree that inflicted the first league loss on the home side, when they came out 1-0 winners back in December.

With every point potentially the difference between automatic promotion and a playoff place, complacency is not an option.
