Harlow Town welcome Aveley to the Harlow Arena for a Ryman League Division One North match.

The Hawks will be without top-scorer Alex Read who suffered a fractured ankle in the win over Barkingside. He is expected to be out for at least four weeks.

Aveley have announced the signing of winger Lamar Reynolds from local league rivals Thurrock, and he is likely to go straight into the squad.

The last meeting between the two clubs back in December ended in a 2-1 win for Harlow, narrowly edging out the home side.

Aveley have two wins, a draw and three losses in the last 6 games, returning 7 points from a possible 18, while Harlow’s back-to-back wins have stopped the slide that saw two losses and two draws in the previous four matches.

Due to Needham Market winning their game in hand mid-week, Harlow have been knocked off top-spot for the first time in several weeks. The Hawks now sit in second, with 81 points from 37 games.

Aveley are in 10th with 55 points from their 35 matches, and despite sitting 10 points outside of the play-offs they are not out of the running and will still prove a stern test.

Kick off is at 3:00pm, on Saturday 7th March 2015.
