The Hawks welcome Brightlingsea Regent for their first visit to the Harlow Arena, in our Ryman League Division One North match.

Hawks boss Danny Chapman has moved to bolster his squad with the signings of Dan Matsuzaka and Jamie Guy from Southend and Witham respectively, and both players will be available for selection.

Craig Pope will miss the game, serving the first of a 2-game suspension after picking up 10 yellow cards this season, and Fabion Simms is unavailable. Warren Goodhind faces a last-minute fitness test after picking up an injury against Dereham Town.

Brightlingsea have won two promotions in the past two seasons, and their inaugural season in the Ryman league is also proving successful. They are currently 8th in the table, with 64 points from 38 games, 8 points outside the playoff places.

Harlow are still in second, five points behind leaders Needham Market on 87 points after 39 games.

Brightlinsea are in a good run of form, with four wins and two losses in the last six games, returning 12 points from a possible 18. They’ve also beaten Needham Market recently, so they certainly know how to play against the top teams in the division.

Harlow’s great away win over Dereham in the last outing made it four wins in a row and six without defeat, so the game will see two in-form sides coming head-to-head at a vital stage of the season.

Kick off is at 3:00pm, on Saturday 21st March 2015.
