Harlow Town host Great Wakering Rovers, in a Ryman League Division One North match, which will be the second game in three days.

The two sides last met back in August, a 4-2 win for the Hawks. You can read the full match report here.

The Hawks won on New Year’s Day to keep up the pressure on Needham Market at the top of the table. Both sides are on 64 points, but Needham’s slightly better goal difference gives them top spot. They’ve also played one game less.

Harlow’s four wins, a draw, and a loss from the last 6 games has kept them in contention for the title.

Great Wakering Rovers have struggled after getting off to a poor start in the league campaign, however they have improved of late and sit second in the form table with the same points return as Harlow – 13 out of 18 from the last 6 games. This includes four consecutive wins in their last four games.

As a result, the East-Essex side find themselves 15th in the league, with 32 points from 27 games.

Kick off is at 3:00pm, on Saturday 3rd January 2015.
