The Hawks welcome Thamesmead Town to the Harlow Arena for a Ryman League Division One North match.

The last outing for the Hawks saw a narrow 2-1 win over neighbours Waltham Abbey, which gave Harlow three wins in a row for the first time since mid-September. Ironically, the team that ended the seven game winning run back then was Thamesmead, when they came from behind to win 2-1.

The two sides are both chasing the playoff places, with Harlow currently 7th in the league on 45 points from 24 league games. Thamesmead meanwhile are just one point behind in 9th, albeit having played a game more.

Both teams also have the same recent form, with four wins, a draw and a loss from the last 6 games, returning 13 points from a possible 18. It’s set up to be a close game.

The Hawks have some defensive worries, with stand-in right-back Jared Small being forced off through injury against Waltham Abbey. Craig Pope will be missing the game with his final game of a three game suspension, while Sam Holloway will be out for a couple of months with a foot injury.

Kick off is at 7:45pm, on Tuesday 5th January 2016.

Don’t forget, if you can’t make the game, you can follow goal and match updates on the Harlow Town FC Twitter and Facebook pages.
