The Hawks host Thurrock in the Ryman Division One North, with a chance to break the 37 year old consecutive wins record.

The two sides only met 11 days ago, when the Hawks came away from Thurrock with a narrow 1-2 win. Harlow were well on top in the first half, but an improved second half from the hosts evened up the match.

Withe the comfortable 4-0 win over Wroxham during the week, the Hawks equalled the long-standing record of 11 consecutive league wins. A win over Thurrock would take that record outright.

Harlow’s perfect recent form sees them top of the form table, and with Thurrock suffering a dip in results of late, they find themselves in 14th. Two wins and four losses in their last six games have returned just six points for the side who were favourites for the title at one stage.

The winning run has propelled the Hawks to 2nd in the table, with 69 points from 32 games. Thurrock are two places behind on 64 points, having played a game less.

Thurrock will be without Lewis Clark, who is suspended, while Jared Small should feature for the home side after coming off as a precaution in the mid-week game.

Kick off is at 3:00pm, on Saturday 13th February 2016.

Don’t forget, if you can’t make the game, you can follow goal and match updates on the Harlow Town FC Twitter and Facebook pages.
