The Hawks host Wroxham in the Ryman Division One North, looking to make it 11 wins in a row.

A hard fought 1-2 away win over Heybridge Swifts in tricky conditions saw the Hawks extend their winning run to 10 games, and a win against Wroxham could see the 37-year old record of 11 consecutive league wins equalled.

The run has seen the Hawks climb the table from 11th place back in December to 2nd where they now sit. With 66 points from 31 games, the Hawks are 10 points behind leaders Sudbury, with two games in hand.

Wroxham have struggled as the season has progressed, dropping from mid-table safety to their current position just inside the relegation zone. They have 23 points from their 30 matches.

Wroxham’s tumble down the table has come on the back of a poor run of results. They haven’t won in 18 league games, and last picked up three points at the beginning of October. Four losses and two draws in their last six outings leaves them second-bottom in the form table. To make matters worse for the Norfolk side, they are currently without a manager after Stewart Larter resigned a fortnight ago when they were knocked out of the Norfolk Senior Cup.

Earlier this season, when the two sides met in only the second game of the league campaign, a late own goal for Wroxham rescued a point in a 1-1 draw.

With home advantage and form on their side, Harlow will be looking for all three points, but with the knowledge that lower-placed teams in the league have caused upsets to other promotion-chasing sides in recent weeks, nothing can be taken for granted.

Kick off is at 7:45pm, on Tuesday 9th February 2016.

Don’t forget, if you can’t make the game, you can follow goal and match updates on the Harlow Town FC Twitter and Facebook pages.
