The Hawks are back in cup action, travelling to Molesey FC in the FA Trophy 2nd Qualifying Round.

Harlow will be looking to bounce back from the defeat against Cheshunt during the week. The game was lost in the first half when the team were uncharacteristically well below their usual standard.

Harlow have progressed well in the two biggest cup competitions so far this season, reaching the final qualifying round of the FA Cup, eventually going out to Braintree Town, and also breezing past Merstham in the previous round of the FA Trophy.

This game is expected to be tough. Molesey were promoted from the Combined Counties League as champions, and in their first season back in the Ryman Division One South they are flying high, in second with 35 points from 18 games. With eight wins in their last nine games, they will be a threat.

Harlow’s firm has stuttered recently, two cup defeats against higher league opposition has meant it has been a tough run of games. With a place in the Third Qualifying Round on offer, and £3,250 in prize money, the Hawks will be hoping to get back to their attacking best.

Lewis Perkins is still out, and a good substitute performance by Leon Fisher against Cheshunt could see him given his first start for the Hawks. Ibrahima Sonko is expected to miss the game, however, after aggravating a groin injury.

For travelling fans, the stadium address is:

Molesey Football Club
412 Walton Road
West Molesey
Surrey KT8 2JG

Kick off is at 3:00pm, on Saturday 14th November 2015.

Don’t forget, if you can’t make the game, you can follow goal and match updates on the Harlow Town FC Twitter and Facebook pages.
