The Hawks travel to Thurrock for another tough match in the Ryman Division One North.

Coming off the back of the important 3-1 win over title-chasing AFC Hornchurch the Hawks are high in confidence and keen to continue their good run. With 8 wins in a row, and only one defeat in the last 13 outings, Harlow sit comfortably top of the form table.

Thurrock, who have also had impressive undefeated runs this season, have suffered a slight dip in form in recent weeks. They’ve won three, drawn one and lost two of their last six games, returning 10 points from a possible 18. However, their tails will be back up after a rampant 4-0 win away at league-leaders AFC Sudbury on Saturday. It’s sure to be a tightly contested game.

With Thurrock and Harlow the only two teams in the top six to win at the weekend, they both gained ground on the sides above. The Hawks are now just one point behind 5th-placed Cray Wanderers, with 60 points from 29 games. Thurrock are four points ahead, having played the same number of matches.

The two sides will meet once again at the Harlow Arena just 11 days later, and these two games could go some way to making or breaking the title aspirations of both of them.

For travelling fans, the stadium address is:

Thurrock Football Club

RM19 1YN

Kick off is at 7:45pm, on Tuesday 2nd February 2016.
