We are pleased to confirm that Danny Chapman has made further player signings after today's final pre-season game.

We are pleased to announce that Robbie Martin has put pen-to-paper to return to the squad again this season. Hawks fans will be aware that Robbie is at home in both midfield and defence, and is a very useful player to be able to call upon.

We can also announce the signing of Elan Assiana and Denzel Conteh, who will bolster the defence.

Assiana came through the youth ranks with Fulham before representing Manchester City and Charlton at Under 18 level. He is tall and versatile, and can operate at centre back or right back.

Conteh is a centre-back who can also play in midfield. He was at Ware last term, and before that he has also featured for Hertford Town and Hatfield Town.

Finally, we are very pleased to announce the signing of two players on work experience terms from Leyton Orient.

Hector Kyprianou was a part of the O's Under 18's team last season, and is a midfielder who can contribute goals.

Charles Clayden is a wide-man who is potent in attack. He made his first-team debut for Leyton Orient in their final game of the 2017-18 National League campaign.

We would like to welcome all the new and returning players to the club, and wish them all the best for the upcoming season.

The league campaign kicks off on Saturday 11th August with the trip to Whitehawk, followed by the first home game three days later when Burgess Hill Town visit the McCullochs Arena on Tuesday 14th.
