Jared Small scored a trio of awards as the curtain came down on the 2017-18 season at the annual Awards Presentation Evening.

The Ladies sides kicked off the evening with a host of awards following yet another successful season for the section.

Club President Ron Bruce then awarded the President's Cup, which is given to someone who has made an outstanding contribution to the club. This year the deserving recipient was Matchday Secretary Donna Weekes, whose tireless work behind the scenes this season has been invaluable.

Next up, dedicated Harlow Town FC supporter Chris Harris, who has travelled to the majority of games this season from Lincolnshire, presented the Supporters' Player of the Year award to Jared Small who secured over 50% of the vote.

The players then took to the stage to thank First Team Assistants Tom Church and Harry Chapman, before Ibrahima Sonko was given a send off following his retirement from playing at the end of the season.

The Top Goalscorer award was then presented by Assistant Manager Spencer Knight, and for the 5th season in a row Alex Read picked up the trophy. His 19 goals this term take his total tally in a Harlow Town shirt to 178.

Director Paul Wilson and Club Captain Craig Pope presented the Players' Player of the Year, with Jared Small picking up his second accolade of the night.

Harlow Town manager Danny Chapman then stepped up to present the final award of the evening, firstly thanking the numerous volunteers who have helped the club throughout the year along with the supporters who have got behind the team in an otherwise tough season.

Spencer Knight read out Jared Small’s name to rapturous applause, as he added the Manager's Player of the Year to his collection, completing a clean sweep of the player awards.

The awards ceremony ended with a bottle of champagne being presented to each of the vast number of Club Volunteers, before the players, officials and supporters partied into the night to see out the season.

We would like to congratulate the award winners, and thank everyone who has supported us this season. We look forward to seeing everyone again in August for the start of the new campaign.
