Harlow Town FC can confirm that Jared Small will leave the club this summer to sign for Tonbridge Angels.

I will forever look back at my time at Harlow with fond memories
- Jared Small

Jared has spent four seasons at the club, but will now be joining up with another former Hawk, Alex Read, at the fellow Bostik Premier Division side.

The pacy winger initially joined the Hawks for the 2014-15 season but left the following summer to sign for newly promoted Brentwood Town, followed by a short stint at Enfield Town. He re-joined the Hawks for a second spell in October 2015, and he went on to make a total of 184 appearances for Harlow Town, scoring 23 goals and assisting in 30 more.

Jared swept the board at last season’s Presentation Awards Evening, winning the Players’, Manager’s and Supporters’ Player of the Year accolades.

Announcing his departure, Jared said: “I’d like to leave on record that I will forever look back at my time at Harlow with fond memories. We celebrated some of the best moments in my football career, most importantly the goal on my return after the birth of daughter.

“I’d like to thank all my friends at Harlow for the tireless support and work behind the scenes. Lastly, thank you to the management team for the faith you’ve put in me over the years.

“I wish you all the very best for the future.”

Everyone at the club would like to thank Jared for his time at the club, and we wish him well for the future.
