Harlow Town FC are delighted to confirm that key players from Harlow’s promotion campaign have signed contracts for the 2016-17 season.

Layne Eadie, the winner of the Manager’s Player, Supporters’ Player and Players’ Player of the Season awards, has signed a contract with the Hawks for next season.

Top Scorer Alex Read, who hit 38 goals last term, has also signed a deal that will keep him at the club until the end of the 2017-18 season.

Also extending their stay at the club are centre-back Ibrahima Sonko and midfielder Fabion Simms, who have each signed a one year deal.

Goalkeeper David Hughes, who kept nine clean sheets in 30 appearances since joining mid-way through the playoff-winning season, has also contracted himself to the club for the 2016-17 campaign.

The players all signed on before the playoff final win, and we're delighted that the spine of the team will be in place as we head back into the Ryman Premier for the first time since 2009.

Further announcements regarding the First Team playing squad will be made in due course, as Danny Chapman continues to assemble his side.
