Hawks edge Robins in seven goal friendly

The Robins lead 1-0 at half time after a goalkeeping error from a Hawks trialist. The keeper came but got no where near a corner kick and a straightforward header ended up in the back of the net. The Hawks hit back 3 minutes into the second half with a delicate lob by Joakim Ehui. The Robins went back in front only for a magnificent strike from Chinedu McKenzie to bring the Hawks back level. Poor defending gifted the Robins the lead again but an Own goal levelled the scores again. The Hawks winning goal came from Shane Stamp who cut in from the left and powered a shot into the top far corner. Danny Chapman's men travel to Essex Senior League Bowers & Pitsea on Tuesday, kick off 7:45pm.
