The Hawks welcome Bury Town to the Harlow Arena for a Ryman League Division One North match.

With Harlow’s mid-week game away to Soham Town Rangers postponed due to a waterlogged pitch, and Bury Town not having a game scheduled since last Saturday, both sides should be relatively fresh going into this match.

The Hawks will be keen to build on their winning run, which currently stands at five games, and only one defeat in the last 10 outings has seen Harlow move up the table. With five wins and a draw from the last six matches for the Hawks, only league-leaders AFC Sudbury can claim better form at the moment.

Bury Town, however, have been struggling of late. After starting the season well, looking to bounce straight back up to the Ryman Premier Division, they have slipped off the pace after one win, one draw and four losses have seen them return only four points from a possible 18.

Harlow’s run sees them level on points with Tilbury, who occupy the final play-off place, but an inferior goal-difference puts the Hawks in 5th with 51 points from 26 games. Bury Town are in 9th, with 44 points from 26 matches.

Harlow will be strengthened buy the news that Jared Small could feature on a return from a hamstring injury, while Junior Dadson will be available for selection after missing the last game through work commitments.

It is a big day in the division, as Sudbury face Hornchurch, Thurrock travel to Cheshunt and Cray Host Brightlingsea, which could all have an effect on who will be sitting in the playoff places at the end of the day’s play.
