Harlow came back from a goal down to beat premier division side Lowestoft 2-1. Goals from Antoine and Read put Harlow into the next round of the FA cup.

Harlow hosted Lowestoft Town in the FA cup first qualifying round. In a highly anticipated game, Harlow certainly didn't disappoint.

Harlow got off to a steady start and had the first real chance of the game. Good hold up play from Alex Read who held off defender Haynes-Brown and he slipped a great pass to Junior Dadson who raced onto goal but his shot went just past the post.

it wasn't going all Harlows way however, a freekick whipped in by Erkan Okay met the towering Haynes-Brown whose header goes wide.

Harlow started to step up their game as they were playing very attractive football and pressurising the Lowestoft midfield not allowing them any time on the ball. The Harlow support was fantastic throughout the game and was going to be needed right up until the last seconds.

But a Devastating blow for the Hawks. A cross came in from the right and bobbled its way to Michael Frew who adjusted and created space for him to shoot and curl his shot past James May and into the back of the net on 21 minutes.0-1.

But Harlow's heads never went down and started to play great football again with Shaun Gliddon and Stanley Muguo fighting hard in the centre of midfield. Harlow nearly equalised as Read again put through Antoine who was smartly denied by keeper Viner.

After that Harlow struggled to create any clear cut chances. Lowestoft started to create more scoring opportunities. Henderson's snapshot needed a good save from James May. Minutes later Henderson should have put Lowestoft 2-0 up. He cleverly dribbled past 2 Harlow defenders but his shot dragged wide.

Half Time and Harlow were going in undeservedly behind.

Harlow came out to a roaring reception from the home crowd to motivate the players even more. Harlow nearly got off to a great start when Leon Antoine got on to the end of a great Glen Parry cross but his header went wide.

Lowestoft again could have extended their lead when Eagle raced onto a loose pass but was denied again by May.

But Harlow finally got what they deserved. Fantastic football fro, Harlow got them back level. Good interchanging passing between Gliddon and Robbie Martin created space for Gliddon to slip a pass through to Dadson who raced to the line and cut back to Antoine who slotted past the keeper on 70 minutes. The Harlow fans showed jubilant celebrations and the atmosphere increased immensely.

Fantastic support from Harlow was rewarded by an Alex Read goal. A corner was whipped in by Robbie Martin, Darren Williams got the flick on and Read poached in to give Harlow the lead. Everyone was on their feet and couldn't believe what had happened.2-1 73 minutes gone.

From that point on it was a nervy 15 minutes for Harlow after that. The atmosphere was fantastic and the support was magnificent. Lowestoft piled on the pressure but the resilient Harlow defence would not give in.

The Final whistle was blown and a Roaring reception was given to the players as they were exiting the pitch. Probably the best result of the season so far.

HARLOW: May, Barnard, Parry, Gliddon, Williams, Blewitt (c), Dadson( McKenzie), Muguo, Read, Antoine, Martin.
