Harlow Town stretched there unbeaten run to 9 games after a fine win at Ryman Premier Division Side Enfield Town.

Danny Chapman took the opportunity to change the team around and gave run outs too Ben Hart, Scott Curley and Junior Dadson leaving Alex Read, Daniel Brown and Josh Mcleod Urquhart on a strong bench. Goalkeeper James May also got a start with Darren Bechet serving a one match ban after his sending off at Chatham Tow a fortnight ago.

The Hawks should have gone in front after 18 minutes when Junior Dadson took the ball round Enfield's goalkeeper Sunny Hayre but took too long to line up his shot and Matt Turpin got back to clear off the line. It was then Enfield's turn to attack with a shot from Tyler Campbell and then a Corey Whitely shot that was nearly turned past James May by Curley. Just as Enfield Town had some control on the game, a break down the right from Ben Hart saw Junior Dadson's shot spilled by Hayre and Leon Antoine had a relatively simple task of slotting the ball home from six yards.

After the break Turpin almost found the target from an Enfield corner, but Harlow were soon to double their lead. A through ball played substitute Alex Read clear and he finished well firing under Hayre for the second. A quick reply from Enfield kept them in the game as Whitely's solo effort saw him fire low past Harlow's James May at his near post. Liam Hope had a chance for an equaliser late on, but over egged his shot to the far corner. In the dying minutes Alex Read should of sealed it when he shot wide at the back post, but the Hawks stayed strong and saw out the game to earn a home fixture against Kingstonian in the next round. The big disappointment for Chapman was losing Layne Eadie early in the 2nd half with a suspected broken nose and concussion which looks to have ruled him out for the trip to VCD Athletic on Saturday.
