The game started with the visitors having lots of possession but failing to create a clear-cut chances in the first 20 minutes.
Harlow had the first great chance of the game. Good high pressure from the Harlow midfield caused Kingstonian to make a mistake and Antoine fed the lethal Alex Read but his effort went agonisingly wide for the Hawks.
After this moment, Harlow had momentum on their side as they were putting strong tackles in and winning the majority of headers. Harlow were truly up to cause a shock.
the first half was lacking chances and was missing the spark it needed.
The second half started and Harlow were rearing to go and their early second half start was rewarded. A Harlow corner was only cleared to the edge of the box and the ball fell to George Smith who composed himself and smashed into the corner of the net to put the reds 1-0 on 61st minute.
The second goal came soon after. Shane Stamp delivered a fantastic delivery in the six yard box and Leon Antoine was their to poke in the bottom of the net to give them some breathing space between kingstonian on 64th minute.
Harlow had surely put the game to bed on the 68th minute. it was a carbon copy of Harlows second goal as Shane Stamp was the provider and Alex Read was their to score and put harlow 3-0 up.
Kingstonian started a fightback and they made James May pull off a few fantastic saves to keep their clean sheet. However they did lose their deserved clean sheet on 80th minute. Substitute Mccolin twisted and turned and rifled in a beautiful shot that flew past May but it was only a consolation.
The full time whistle went and Harlow were fully worthy of their 3-1 victory. A special mention should go to the hawks back four and especially to Josh Mcleod-Urquhart as he was outstanding.
