Biography

Fabion Simms joined the Hawks for a third time in May 2021.

He originally signed for Harlow Town in March 2014 from Potters Bar Town, where he was a regular in the starting line-up for Bar, and was virtually an ever-present in the Hawks side since then.

He can play in central midfield, in the holding position or just behind the striker. He has also been known to fill in at centre back.

In May 2015, after his first full season with the Club, Simms won the Players Player of the Year for the 20414-15 season, and was very much a fans favourite when commanding the midfield area.

He was named Captain ahead of the 2018-19 season, and after over four years with the Club he was still one of the first names on the team-sheet.

He celebrated his 250th appearance for the Hawks in November 2018, with only 11 of those appearances earned coming off the bench.

He departed the Club at the end of the 2018-19 season, having made 276 appearances in total. He scored 19 goals, with 23 assists, and will surely go down as a Harlow Town legend.

He joined the Hawks for a second spell in February 2020, on a one month deal from Cheshunt, returning to his parent club Cheshunt at the end of the 2019-20 season.

Simms then re-joined the Danny Chapman's squad for a third time ahead of the 2021-22 season. He continued to play for the Hawks up until our 2022 resignation from the Southern League.

Fabion rejoined the Hawks for a fourth time on 12th September 2023, from Concord Rangers.
