Ibrahima Sonko is towering centre-back who has played at the very highest level.
He started his career in France before moving to Brentford. He then spent four years at Reading, helping the Royals reach the Premier League, before commanding a £2m transfer fee when he joined Stoke in 2008.
Several more teams in England followed, before a 3-year stint in the Turkish top division. He has also represented Senegal at international level.
Following his return to England he joined the Hawks ahead of the 2015-16 season. Sonko played a huge part in helping Harlow Town win the Isthmian League Division One playoffs that season, returning to the Premier Division.
He was also instrumental in establishing the Harlow Town Academy, lending his year's worth of experience to the youth teams as a coach.
Sonko went on to make 141 appearances for the Hawks before retiring from playing in the summer of 2018.
