The two current longest serving players for Harlow Town both had cause to celebrate something other then the 3-1 win.
Layne Eadie, pictured left, made his 200th appearance for the Hawks. The flying left-back signed for the Hawks in September 2013, and has been an ever-present in the line-up ever since.
He won the Manager’s Player of the Year trophy in 2014-15 along with the President’s Cup, and during last season’s promotion campaign he scooped a trio of awards winning the Player of the Season from the manager, players and supporters.
Alex Read meanwhile, scored his 150th goal in a Harlow shirt, quickly followed by his 151st. The striker signed for Harlow from Aveley in July 2013 and has boasted an impressive goal tally since.
His 151 goals have come in just 203 appearances, and he is bearing down on the all-time goal scoring record held by Marc Salmon. Another fans' favourite, Salmon scored 198 goals for the Hawks but it took him 492 appearances.
Alex Read is also the holder of the club's goal-scoring record for one season, when in 2013-14 he rattled in a magnificent 52 league and cup goals.
We'd like to congratulate both players on their incredible achievements.
