Following the Government's proposals of the latest COVID-19 "lockdown" restrictions, the FA have confirmed the suspension of football.

A statement issued by the FA today (Tuesday 3rd November) confirms that all fixtures and training for Steps 3-6 of the National League System, which includes the Pitching In Isthmian League South Central at Step 4, will be suspended from Thursday 5th November 2020 until Wednesday 2nd December 2020.

This is subject to parliament voting tomorrow [Wednesday 4th November] to impose the new restrictions, and the publication of bespoke guidance from the Department for Digital, Culture, Media & Sport [DCMS].

The FA have also reiterated their desire to ensure that the 2020-21 season is completed.

As a result, the away fixture against Westfield that was scheduled for Saturday 7th November has been postponed and, subject to any further changes, we will not be back in action until our scheduled home game against Marlow on 5th December.

The Women's Football Pyramid has also been affected, and so Harlow Ladies will also have all football suspended until December.

All fixtures and training for indoor and outdoor youth and grassroots football have also been suspended, with the exception of school sport.

As a result, our Mini Hawks and Wildcats sessions have also been cancelled until further notice.

The health and wellbeing of our players, supporters, officials, volunteers, parents and their families remain the priority, so we encourage everyone to adhere to the government’s restrictions during this period, in the hope that we can look forward to a return to football when it is safe to do so.
