After the news earlier this month that Harlow Town FC had suffered a burglary in the Club Shop and storage garage unit, Hawks supporters, the local community and the wider football family were understandably upset to hear about the extent of the damage caused.
The Club received many words of support, and Hawks supporter and youth coach Callum Dorling took it upon himself to set-up a GoFundMe page. After a number of generous contributions, this week he donated to the Club the sum of £500, which we are very thankful for.
Harlow Town FC CEO Tim Sewell said: "The money that has been generously given will certainly help. We are planning improvements to the storage garage, and the money gifted will help towards that.
"We'd like to thank Callum and all who contributed for their kind gifts and assistance."
Everyone at the Club is most grateful to Callum for his fundraising efforts and everyone else who donated to the cause. We thank you all for your support.
