Manager Mark Holloway has made some additional changes to the playing personnel as he continues to shape his own squad.

We are pleased to announce the signing of Chris Bourne (pictured top left) from Grays Athletic. Chris is a left-back or left midfielder who has a vast amount of experience.

He started his career with Southend United as a youngster before going on to play for Billericay Town, AFC Hornchurch, Met Police, Croydon Athletic, Staines Town, Heybridge Swifts, Welling United, Brentwood Town and Canvey Island.

He has also made 25 international appearances for Guyana, after earning his debut against Cuba in 2008.

We can also announce the signing of Freddy Moncur (top right) from Romford. Moncur is a midfielder who came through the West Ham United youth system before joining Leyton Orient, where he spent several seasons.

He had successful loan spells at Wingate & Finchley and Bishop’s Stortford, before making his league debut for the O’s. When he left Leyton Orient in 2018 he rejoined Wingate & Finchley on a permanent deal, and has since also featured for East Thurrock United, Ebbsfleet United, Concord Rangers and Cheshunt before signing for Glen Tamplin’s Romford last November.

Also joining the Club is Ross Elsom (bottom left). Ross is another midfielder who joins from Witham Town, and before that he featured for Basildon United.

Harlow Town have also secured the services of Reiss Chandler (bottom right), who joins on work experience from Southend. The right-back impressed during the Hawks’ mid-week friendly with Chelmsford City.

We would like to welcome all the new players to the Club, and with all relevant paperwork completed, they will be available for selection tomorrow as the Hawks head to Hertford Town for a 3pm kick off.

The squad has been further boosted by Leyton Orient loanee Jeremie Sivi signing another one-month extension to his current deal.

Finally, we can also announce that departing the Club is Miles Mitchell-Nelson, who has been recalled by parent club Southend United. Miles has made 26 appearances during his time with the Hawks.

Also, De’Juane Taylor-Crossdale has left the Club by mutual consent. De'Juane has made 28 appearances this season, however with his starting chances limited of late, he will leave to search for regular first team opportunities elsewhere.

We’d like to thank both players for their contributions to the team this season, and wish them all the very best for the future.
