Harlow Town Football Club can confirm that James Love has departed the club after a promotion in his job and other factors which mean that his commitment to the team would be limited and as such we have made the decision to part ways with him.

James came into the club in February of this year with the ambition to win things and he played a big role in the business end of the season in winning the Thurlow Nunn Division One South title as well as making the Thurlow Nunn League Challenge Cup Final.

Manager Danny Chapman added, “it is with regret that James will no longer be playing with us, he has been a consistent performer for us over the last nine months and is a great lad all round and liked by everyone. Unfortunately with his new role within his job, James will miss important games and training sessions and I feel consistency is very important if we are to achieve our goals. James was in agreement and understood the decision. I wish him all the best for the future.”
