Ishaq Ameen is a player who originally signed for us in the summer of 2023 after impressing on trial as the Hawks returned to football in the Thurlow Nunn First Division South. Before this, he had previously been part of Leyton Orient and Crystal Palace youth systems.

He was our top goalscorer at the end of the 2023/24 season, netting 19 times and assisting 7 times in 45 games as we went on to win the Thurlow Nunn League Challenge Cup. Ishaq scored the winning goal in the final of that competition against Downham Town.

The following season, Ishaq made 28 appearances, scoring 11 times and assisting twice as the Hawks won the Thurlow Nunn Division One South. Ishaq departed the club at the end of the season and moved to Sporting Bengal United in the Essex Senior League.

A few months into the season, Ishaq has made the switch back to the Hawks and we wish him all the best for the season ahead and wish him a warm welcome back to Harlow Town Football Club.
