The former Gillingham academy player was released ahead of the new season, becoming a free agent. With a spell for Welling United in their Under 16's KYL squad, Crump joined Gillingham as a scholar in 2020.

During his time at the club, the keeper featured in the FA Youth Cup as well as making some Kent Senior Cup appearances against Margate and Whitstable Town. Last season the youngster spent his work experience loan in the Isthmian League North Division as he went to Barking FC, making a couple of appearances there against Concord Rangers and East Thurrock United.
