Following our frustrating and unfortunate defeat to Benfleet at home, our focus turns to our next game, which is another Thurlow Nunn League First Division South game against Hoddesdon Town.
If you’re planning on travelling to the game by public transport, the final bus from Harlow to Hoddesdon leaves at 6.10pm, with the ground being approximately a 22 minute (1 mile) walk from Broxbourne Railway Station – the nearest train station. The club state that car parking around the ground can be difficult, so they advise trying to find a car park in and around the town centre and walking from there. There is no car park at the ground in use for supporters.
Hoddesdon Town are an established football club, founded back in 1879, with their highest honour being winners of the FA Vase in the 1974-75 season. This season, they sit 20th place in the Thurlow Nunn League, and lost 3-1 to us back in August.
Entry to the game will cost £8 for adults, £5 for concessions and £2 for under-12s. The game will be kicking off at Hoddesdon Town Football Club, EN11 8PX at 7.45pm. Cash and card will be taken on the gate.
We would love to see as many of you at the game as possible, as we try to bounce back from 2 frustrating defeats. Let’s win this local derby and get behind the team.
