Syrus Gordon signed for the Hawks for a second spell in August 2019.

He had previously played for the Club between August 2015 and September 2018, making 142 appearances in all competitions.

He is a tough-tackling midfielder who has also previously played for Cheshunt.

Syrus was captain of the squad in our resignation season of 2022-23. He returned to the club towards the end of the 2023-24 campaign. His time since his return has been successful, being a strong leader in the dressing room and contributing towards our 2024 League Challenge Cup win, and scoring once.

In the following season, Syrus once again cemented himself as part of our midfield, appearing 40 times and scoring 3 goals as we lifted the Thurlow Nunn Division One South title.
