The Hawks make a midweek trip to Bury Town for a Ryman League Division One North match.

Harlow’s dramatic 3-2 win over Tilbury at the weekend, along with Cheshunt losing, guaranteed a playoff spot for Harlow for the third year in a row. The challenge now is to finish as high as possible to ensure home advantage.

Harlow are currently third in the league on 86 points. A point behind Thurrock on 87, both sides have four games to go. At the same time that Harlow face Bury Town, Thurrock host fourth placed Cray Wanderers.

Since a good early start to the league campaign, Bury Town have been dropping down the league table to their current position of 13th, where they have 57 points from 41 games. They have, in effect, nothing to play for, as they are well off the playoff positions but also plenty clear from relegation. They may already be looking forward to the close season, and their recent form would certainly suggest that the players have their minds elsewhere.

Bury Town are rock bottom of the form table, with a draw and five losses from their last six games, and they haven’t won for two months.

Harlow meanwhile have bounced back well from the dip in form suffered a few weeks ago. With three wins in a row, the Hawks have won three, drawn one and lost two of their last six, returning 10 points from a possible 18.

When the two sides met at the beginning of this year, Harlow came out on top in a 2-0 win. The Hawks will be looking to replicate that result to go into the final few games on a run of good wins.

Kick off is at 7:45pm, on Tuesday 5th April 2016.

Don’t forget, if you can’t make the game, you can follow goal and match updates on the Harlow Town FC Twitter and Facebook pages.
