Gavin is an experienced striker, as well as a local lad. He has previously played for Enfield FC. Gavin's father, Paul, also played for the club in the 1990s.
In the 2022/23 season, a video went viral depicting Gavin's long throw-in technique, as it was similar to Rory Delap's famous throw in technique.
Gavin joined the club at the beginning of the 2023/24 season, scoring 12 goals and assisting 6 times in just 15 appearances for the club. However, after making a huge impact, Gavin was forced to retire due to injury problems mid-way through the season.
A few weeks after retiring, Gavin joined our coaching staff and became a first team coach.
In November 2024, it was revealed that Gavin was given the green light to return to playing football, re-signing for the Hawks and coming out of retirement. He hit the ground running once again, scoring 13 goals and assisting once in 19 appearances.
His total of 25 goals in 34 appearances, with several of those being substitute appearances in his second season, makes him one of the most prolific strikers in the club's recent history.
